TPS upholds the principle that quality learning is well-achieved through a mutual cooperation between the home and the school. The school’s goals and objectives shall never be realized to the fullest extent if the parents will not show any support to every endeavor that the school wants to undertake.
It is therefore important that the parents are properly informed about the goals, objectives as well as the policies that are being implemented in the school. Making the parents aware of the significant matters pertaining to the school system will guide and help them become good partners of the school in ensuring quality education.
It is on this note that TPS conducted an Orientation for Parents last August 31 which lasted for two hours from 5PM to 7 PM @ the School’s Covered Court.
Important matters regarding the existing school policies were discussed by the guidance counselor, Dr. Rosalinda D. Miranda. She has given emphasis on the significant role of parents in helping the students observe proper decorum at all times.
Ms. Jocelyn M. Sollano, the school principal also shed some light about the K-12 or Enhanced Basic Education Program of the Department of Education whose implementation phase began this school year.
The well-attended orientation ended so well and was wrapped up by the question and answer portion wherein pertinent questions raised by the parents were carefully answered by the school principal, Ms. Jocelyn M. Sollano.
The said event was hosted by the dynamic duo Ms. Monique Q. Sevilla and Mr. Melvin M. Mendoza.
